HOW TO PLAY

THE GAME back to top

80 Ball Bingo is yet another variation of the 90 Ball game. In Bingo clubs the game is played on plastic shutter boards. Called numbers are marked by closing the slides to cover each number.

Like our online 90 and 75 Ball versions, a new online 80 Ball Bingo game starts every few minutes, all day every day.

To play you must log in, have adequate funds in your account and buy at least one ticket.

The Club Selector back to top

At Galabingo.com you will find a choice of clubs with different games and promotions running at different times so whenever you log in you can be sure to find the bingo game that suits you. Simply choose a club from the 80 Ball lobby page by clicking on the PLAY button.

All online clubs offer the same features and game options but have different opening hours; the Gala 1980, and Party Bingo Club however, are open every day, 24 hours a day.

A Club Selector button is available within each club above the Chat window to allow you move from one to another without having to log out.

The tickets back to top

Each individual grid of numbers is referred to as a ticket. Tickets are 4 rows by 4 columns, and each column is a different colour (red, yellow, blue and white).
In the Ticket Display area, tickets appear in pairs – to resemble those used in land based clubs - however, each ticket is separate and can be purchased individually.

An example of a Ticket is given below:-

Winning combinations and prizes back to top

Winning patterns include One Line and Full House. Different games will offer either or both patterns. Therefore, depending on the game, you may be able to play for just One Line, for the Full House only, or for both.

To claim One Line you will need to mark off any of the following patterns:

  • Any diagonal line
  • Any horizontal line
  • Any vertical line
  • Four centre squares
  • Four corners

The Bonus Line back to top

If your One Line claim coincides with the Bonus Line, you win both the One Line and the Bonus Line pot.
The Bonus Line is whichever line is clearly highlighted in the game information panel at the top left hand side of your screen during each game.

This is an example of how a bonus line will be highlighted in the game information panel during a game:-

To claim the Bonus Line you must mark off all the numbers in the relevant line. Marking off any other number outside the bonus line WILL NOT VOID your chance to win the Bonus Line.

Note: The Bonus Line is an extra reward for winning a specific One Line, therefore, once any One Line that’s not a Bonus Line has been claimed, the Bonus Line can no longer be claimed.

The prize offered for the Bonus Line is a fixed amount and is not funded by the stake to play the game.

To claim the Full House you must mark off all numbers on any one of your tickets.

The Bonus Jackpot back to top

The Bonus Jackpot is an additional prize to make your Full House even more worthwhile. To win it, you have to get a Full House within the required number of calls.

The required number of calls may increase or decrease at different times on different days, but will always be clearly displayed.

For your chance to win the Bonus Jackpot once you have bought your tickets and before the game starts, you must click on the Bonus Jackpot button.
An entry fee of 50p will be debited from your account and will be added to the fixed amount of the jackpot.

Please note: the Bonus Jackpot button will not be available within the Advanced Tickets window. To enter the Bonus Jackpot, you must be in the relevant Club and press the button before the draw starts.

The Bonus Jackpot button will be available as long as the ticket sale is open. Once the ticket sale is closed, you won’t be able to enter the Bonus Jackpot.

Please note: you may click on the Bonus Jackpot button only once, multiple clicks will not be taken into account.

Having clicked on the Bonus Jackpot button a message will confirm that you have entered the Bonus Jackpot and will inform you within how many calls you need to claim the Full House to win it.

This is how the button will appear after you have entered the Bonus Jackpot or at times when the Bonus Jackpot is not available:-

A new 80 Ball Bingo game starts every few minutes. The schedule and the details of the next games in every Gala Club can be viewed at any time by clicking on Times & Prices in the game information panel. You can use the drop down menu to select another Club.

In the game information panel you can also see the name of the current game, the number of participants and the prize for each winning pattern, including the any extra prizes.

Once the game starts, in the game display area at the top right of your screen, you will see each number as it’s drawn and marked off on the checklist.

You can change the volume in the club by using the volume control icon located below the History button in the top right of the screen. If you want to switch off only a certain part of the sound (e.g. the Caller or the Music) then you can click on the advanced sound control icon on the left of the volume control icon.

Marking your numbers back to top

You may mark your numbers manually or chose to have them marked automatically.
The automatic option is selected by default, but should you prefer to mark your numbers manually, click on Preferences and deselect the Auto Mark box.  For your convenience, an Auto Mark box will also appear above your tickets just before the game starts.  You may change marking mode during the game.

If you have chosen the manual mode, don’t worry if you fall behind. By clicking on the Catch up button, all called numbers will be marked automatically. All called numbers will be marked automatically every time a valid claim is made.

Valid Games back to top

Every time you complete a winning pattern (One Line or Full House) you can click on the Claim button. However, don’t worry if you don’t, your winnings will still be safe and a winner claim box will appear automatically on your screen. All other players will also be notified by a pop up box showing all details of your winning claim.

In the same way, as soon as any other player makes a valid claim, a box will pop up on your screen showing all details of the other players’ winning claim.
If you are on manual marking mode, the winner claim box will appear automatically when you have a valid claim, even if you didn’t mark any of the numbers on your ticket.
