Blue Wizard

The Blue Wizard has been around for a while already and has remained popular with players since its release. This is why Quickspin have now re-released it in a slightly upgraded version.  

Fans will be happy to know that the studio has taken an "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" attitude to the gameplay, and has concentrated on polishing up the visuals and animations. The game is still a 5x3 slot with 30 fixed paylines, and the two grand bonus rounds stay the same as well.  

At the low end of the paytable are gold 10-A card ranks royals, followed by rings, books, cauldrons and owls as premiums, worth between 2.5 to 6 times your stake for a five of a kind win. The betting range is wide enough to suit both budget players and high rollers, starting at 0.10 and going up to 100.00 per spin. 

The Blue Wizard himself is Wild, landing on reels 2, 3, 4, or 5 to work his magic and help form wins by standing in for regular symbols. 

The castle is the Scatter and awards 6 Free Spins. It’s also the most valuable pay symbol, worth 1x, 10x, or 50x the stake for 3, 4, or 5 of them in view. 

Crystal balls with cash values of 1 to 50 times the bet, or star icons on them, can also land and trigger the Fire Blaze Respins, which I'll explain below. 

The Free Spins start with only six spins, but these can be retriggered. During these, Wilds that land on the middle reel have a random multiplier of x2, x4, x8, or x16, the line bet attached. And this will be applied to any wins that the Wild is involved in forming. 

The Fire Blaze Respin feature triggers from the base game or the Free Spins whenever at least six crystal ball symbols are on the grid. At the start of the respins, these lock in position. The reels will respin three times, but each new crystal ball landing will reset the counter, as well as sticking in place. 

The feature ends when the counter runs down to zero or all the positions on the grid have been filled. If this is the case, the lucky player will receive the Grand jackpot of 2,000 x the bet. If not, all the cash values and star icons on the grid are collected and awarded to the player. The stars award one of three jackpots; the Mini, Minor, or Major jackpot prizes worth 20x, 100x, or 500x the bet, respectively.

Blue Wizard has lost none of its charm in this makeover and is still a fun, entertaining and potentially very rewarding game. But the world of wizardry and magic is an unpredictable place, so always set a loss limit before entering it. Good Luck!
