Buffalo King Megaways

Buffalo Kings Megaways takes us back to the badlands of the west in a remake of Pragmatic Play’s hit slot Buffalo Kings.

The scenery is the same, but the grid, held together by wooden beams, is now the typical 6-reel Megaways setup with an extra horizontal reel with four fixed positions across the top. The other reels will land between two and seven symbols each on every spin, producing anything up to a massive 200,704 ways to win.

The betting range is from 0.20 to 100, but players who want to get into the Free Spins round as quickly as possible can opt for the Ante Up bet. The Ante Up bet won't change the symbol values.

The low-paying symbols are the usual suspects, the card ranks from 10-A. The premium symbols are the native fauna of the American West; a cougar, wolf, moose, eagle and, of course, the buffalo. As you'd expect, the buffalo is the highest paying symbol and awards a top prize of 20 x the bet for matching five.

There is a Wild, and this will help form winning combos by standing in for all other symbols except the Scatter. But it can only land on the middle four reels of the grid. A buffalo coin is the Scatter.

In common with most other Megaways titles, at least the newer ones, Buffalo King Megaways features tumbling, otherwise known as cascading, reels. After every win, all the symbols involved burst and disappear from the reel while new ones tumble in from the top. This can lead to multiple wins in a row as the tumble keeps repeating until no further wins are formed.  

When a lucky player lands four or more Scatters, they’ll receive a payout of 5 x the bet and 12 Free Spins. Five Scatters get a prize of 20 x the bet and 20 Free Spins, and a full line of six wins an incredible 100 x and 22 free spins. During the Free Spins, every Wild that lands will increase the multiplier by + 1, and three or more Scatters add more spins to the total.

This is a high volatility game, so it can take a while for the Free Spins to trigger, but impatient players can increase their chances of triggering them with the Ante Up feature at the cost of 25% of their bet.
