Blueprint Gaming's Fishin' Frenzy series is home to some iconic titles, like Fishin' Frenzy Reel Em In, and this latest addition Fishin' Frenzy The Big Catch is a worthy addition.

Played on a grid of 5x3 grid with 10 paylines, the base game offers some high win potential with just the regular symbols in play. But when the player gets into the Free Spins, where the Fisherman starts to show off his angling skills, they could rack up a potential 5,000 x the bet win!

For a payout in the base game, players need to land three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting at the left. All except for the Pelican, the highest value regular symbol, who awards prizes for just two on a payline. The rest of the symbols are card ranks 10 to A as the low pays and the other premiums are the tackle box, fishing rod, and lifebuoy. 

The Wild is the fisherman who helps out by standing in for all the regular symbols to form combinations. And in the Free Spins, he’ll do a whole lot more.

The Scatter is a fishing boat and will award 10, 15, or 20 Free Spins, for three, four or five anywhere on the grid. There are also different sized fish symbols that land on the reels with cash values attached. In the base game, these award line wins for a combo of any three, but the Free Spins need to trigger for the cash values to become active.

Once the Free Spins trigger, the player has a chance to collect the cash values of the fish. These are multipliers of between x 2 to x 50 the stake. And whenever a Fisherman lands, he’ll hook all the fish on the reels and award their cash prizes. If more than one fisherman lands at once, they will each collect all the fish in view.  

And this is where the Big Catch feature comes in. The fisherman is also collected when he lands, and every four remove the lowest value fish symbol. And five extra Free Spins are added to the remaining total, so the player gets to take full advantage of this boost to the win potential of the round.
