Secret Garden Slot Review

You don’t come across them often, but Secret Garden, the game we’re checking out today, is best described as a nature-themed slot. On first seeing this Eyecon release's title, we thought this could be a game based on the film of the same name, but that’s not the case in this five-reeled slot that comes with twenty-five paylines.

It’s fair to say that when you’re putting together a nature-themed slot, it will likely be easy to make it look the part, but making it exciting and fun to play could prove more difficult. But it’s a task that Eyecon approach with their usual vigour, and starting with a top prize of 9,500x is a great start.

Players can take a trip into nature for 0.25 per spin, with a maximum stake of 12.50 available, and playing with the latter could prove beneficial, not only in the free spins feature, but when you consider there are some big multipliers that can enter the fray and double wild wins too.

Eyecon also brought us the Fluffy Favourites slots like Fluffy Favourites Megaways and Fluffy Favourites Fairground as well as Enchanted Prince.

Feature Symbols

It’s going to be quite challenging for any iGaming developer to create a nature-themed slot and not be able to make it look the part. Secret Garden is generally a game that gets a pass on the graphics front. They’re not amazing. They’re quite blocky, but they’re what you expect all the same.

The symbols elevate the visuals in Secret Garden, and a bonus is that there are no royal icons in sight. Ladybirds, butterflies, sunflowers and daffodils pay up to 4x, toadstools and trees pay up to 5x, the bluebird and dragonfly up to 10x and the orange bird up to 18x. The sun and the rainbow pay the most in this one, with returns of up to 38x available.

Bonuses and Jackpots

The padlock is the wild in Secret Garden, and as well as replacing other regular icons in this slot, it can also pay up to 380x for a line of five. And any winning combinations the wild is involved in will result in a double payout.

The red rose assumes the role of the scatter in this Eyecon game, and 3, 4 or 5 of them will produce prizes of 5x, 20x or 450x, as well as fifteen free spins. Players can re-trigger the free spins to have a maximum of two hundred and forty on their hands, and wins during this will be subject to a 3x multiplier.

Some people may view the double wild wins as the way to go in Secret Garden, which is fair because they're advantageous and boost the base game. But, when you consider everything available in the free spins feature, it works out as each turn of the reels being worth up to 1,140x the stake.

You have to credit any slot developer who takes the plunge and makes a slot with a theme you don’t see too often, which is precisely what Eyecon do here. Secret Garden, a slot inspired by nature, is a good release because it ticks all the boxes it needs to tick. As you'll expect, the main attractions are the double wild wins and the free spins feature.
