Fishin' Frenzy The Big Catch Megaways

The Fishin' Frenzy series is still going strong, and Blueprint Gaming are taking full advantage of its popularity with regular additions. The latest release, Fishin' Frenzy The Big Catch Megaways, combines two of the previous titles in one fantastically fishy slot!

Everything about the game is instantly familiar, but still a little different. Visually, all the much-loved Fishin' Frenzy elements are there. The grid is the same six reel affair as Fishin' Frenzy Megaways, landing between two and five symbols on each reel to produce from 64 up to 15,625 ways to win. And players of Fishin' Frenzy The Big Catch will instantly recognise the Big Catch metre to the side of the grid. 

The betting range on this medium volatility slot is from 0.10 to 10 per spin. Wins are formed by landing at least three matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel. The symbols themselves are card ranks 10 to Ace for the lower paying ones. The premiums are the same as in the rest of the series; a tackle box, lifebuoy, fishing rod, and pelican. These give maximum possible payouts of between 50 and 200 x the bet for combinations of six. The pelican, as the most valuable symbol, will also award a prize for a combo of two.

As well as the regular symbols, players will see different size fish landing on the reels. In the base game and the Free Spins, these give prizes for three or more in view, up to 10 x the bet for six. But in the Free spins, they can also be worth a whole lot more, which I’ll explain below. 

The Scatter is the picture of the boat sailing away into the sunset. A minimum of three in view anywhere on the reels are needed to trigger the Free Spins. This will give ten Free Spins, and the number rises with every additional Scatter, up to fifty for six. 

And finally, the Fisherman himself can appear during the Free Spins to both act as Wild and do his thing, hook fish off the reels.

During the Free Spins, the fish symbols come with cash values attached; the bigger the fish, the higher the value. Whenever the Fisherman lands, he'll help form wins by acting as Wild. And he will also reel in all the fish on the reels, collecting their cash values. These can be from 2 x up to 50 x the bet. If two or more Fishermen land at the same time, they all collect the fish values for the player. 

Once the Fisherman has landed all the fish, he's collected in the metre to the left of the reels. For every four Fishermen collected, the lowest value fish is removed from the reels for the rest of the bonus round. The player will also be awarded with five more Free Spins.
