Santa King Megaways

Santa King Megaways returns Inspired Gaming’s Reel Kings to our screens in a Christmas special. The Megaways grid of 6 main reels, with one horizontal reel on top, can produce up to 117,649 ways to win when all the reels land the max of seven symbols.

The paytable is the usual Reel King reverse order collection of symbols with low-paying cherries, plums, watermelons, and premium 9-A card symbols, as well as a Santa sack full of presents and coins as the most valuable symbol and a nod to the game’s theme. 

 All symbols, except the sack which needs only two, need at least three landing on adjacent reels to win. Landing six sacks in a line awards a 50 x prize, while the rest of the symbols payout much less, between 0.8x to 7.5x for six of a kind. 

The Crown symbol is the Wild, helping to form winning combinations by standing in for the regular symbols.  

There’s no Scatter in the game, even though there is a Free Spins round, as this triggers from the other main bonus, the Reel King feature. When this triggers, players will see a number of little Reel Kings dressed up in their Santa outfits appearing on the screen.

Each win triggers the Cascade feature, with winning symbols disappearing from the grid, allowing new ones to cascade down and fill the gaps. If another winning combination is formed, the process repeats and only ends when a cascade does not produce a win. 

In the base game, up to 6 reels can turn yellow on each spin, with a dinging sound. Reels are also lit by a successful cascade. If all 6 reels turn yellow, the Reel King Feature is triggered, one more winning cascade after that will trigger the Super King, and yet one more and the Mega King kicks in. 

Once any of these features kick in, players will see one or more Reel Kings on the screen, each holding a mini set of reels. These will spin, awarding multipliers of up to 10 x the bet, and moving the player along the trail to the Free Spins round. When a Reel King hits a losing spin, he disappears from the screen, and the feature ends when there are no more Kings left. 

Free Spins position plays out after the Reel King feature ends. Up to 25 Free Spins can be won, and if the player isn't happy with the amount they received, they can choose to gamble them to try and win more.

In the Free Spins, a win multiplier is active, increasing by +1 with each cascade win, without limit. Reels also light up in this round, but red, after each cascade. If all 6 reels turn red, more Free Spins are added to the total, and the win multiplier is increased by up to +3.

A great game to get in the mood for Xmas.
