Slingo Pigasus and Friends

Today. I'll be taking a look at one of the recent additions to our catalogue; Slingo Pigasus and Friends. And although this is a game by Slingo Originals, it's not your classic Slingo game but a full-blown slot!

This creative offering features a weird and wonderful mix of creatures and a Free Spins round which does things a little differently. The 5x3 grid is set in a farm yard, but the animals are not exactly as you'd expect them. There's Pigasus, the flying pig, and his companions, Ms Ewe-nicorn (a sheep with a unicorn horn), a three-headed cow, and a triangular chicken!

The animals are the highest paying symbols in Pigasus and Friends. Pigasus is the most valuable symbol in the Pigasus and Friends game. Pigasus himself is the most valuable of the regular symbols, followed by Ms Ewe-nicorn, the three-headed cow, and finally, the purple triangular chicken(?). Card ranks 10 to A are the lower-paying symbols.

There are two Scatters, both are a picture of a moon rising behind a fence, and one is red and one blue. The Free Spins can be triggered in three different ways with these, and I’ll tell you all about them in a minute.

A sort of Minotaur, but half bull, half bird, is the Wild. This fantastical-looking creature can stand in for all the regular symbols to form wins and also awards a prize of his own for a combo of 5. And if he's involved in forming a possible win, he could randomly decide to multiply it by 2 x, 3 x, or even 10 x.

The Big Bad Wolf can appear in the Free Spins Bonus, with both good and bad consequences for the player.

Three Moon Scatters across reels 1, 3, and 5 will trigger the Free Spins. If all the Moons are red, the player gets unlimited Free Spins with four lives and a random starting multiplier of up to 10 x. Three blue Moons get the player three lives and a multiplier of up to  5 x. A combo of Moons wins two lives and a multiplier of up to 3 x.

The Free Spins continue as long as the player has any lives left. They lose one each time the Big Bad Wolf appears on the reels, but he also increases the multiplier for the remaining spins.

Because of the title, I was expecting a typical half-slots, half-bingo Slingo game. So to see a slot open was a bit of a surprise. But once I started playing, any disappointment quickly disappeared.
