Slingo Classic

Take a step back in time to where it all began with Slingo Classic. To celebrate their twentieth anniversary, Slingo Originals have released a reworking of the original game itself! Slingo fans will feel at home with this familiar design and layout, and if you've never played Slingo before, this is as good a place to start as any and better than most!

If you don’t already know, Slingo takes elements of two favourites, Slots and Bingo, and combines them in one original fast-paced game.

It's played on a 5 x 5 grid, and there are a total of twelve win lines to play, vertically, horizontally and diagonally across the board. The board itself looks like a bingo card with a number in each square.

Below the board is one row of five reels. These spin to land on a number or one of the feature symbols, which we'll tell you about later. Suppose the number on the reel matches one in the row above; it's marked off with a star symbol. Mark off all the numbers on a win line, and it's a Slingo. Each Slingo you get will win you a prize, and these become more valuable the more Slingos you have.

Once you select the amount you want to bet, you have 11 spins to mark off as many numbers on the board and create as many Slingos as possible. You can also win Free Spins, which are played when your original eleven spins run out. When all these are gone, you can either collect your winnings or choose to continue the game by buying extra spins. The cost will depend on your chances of winning.

The whole design and feel of the game really takes you back twenty years. The graphics have been cleaned up but still, keep the feel of earlier games. And the minimalistic soundtrack is a reminder of what we've gained from broadband connections.

Feature Symbols

A happy Joker acts as a Wild and lets you choose any number in the row above his position to mark off. The same cheerful chappy on a green background is the Super Wild and will let you mark off any number on the board. Landing three or more of these symbols will also get you an extra cash prize.

The gold coin isn’t much use in creating Slingos but will give you a cash prize when it appears on the reels, and you’ll get one extra spin for every Free Spin symbol that appears.

And then there’s the devil. This guy and his evil laugh appear with the sole purpose of blocking you from marking off a number, but thankfully he only appears on the middle reel.

Bonuses and Jackpots

Free Spins are won by landing Free Spin symbols; each of these gives you one extra spin to play when your 11 paid spins are over. You can't win any more free spins once these start.

You can purchase extra spins to keep the game going after all your initial ones, and Free Spins are done. The price of these goes up as you mark off more numbers and your potential wins get higher. But remember, these are only potential wins and the price per spin once you get into extras can go up pretty rapidly, so be sure you keep an eye on how much you're staking.

The highest prize you can win on Slingo Classic is 500 x your stake. To do this, you need to mark off all the numbers on the board in your first 11 spins. The rest of the payouts are as follows:

  • 10 lines = 100x
  • 9 lines = 20x
  • 8 lines = 10x
  • 7 lines = 5x
  • 6 lines = 3x
  • 5 lines = 2x
  • 4 lines = 1x
  • 3 lines = 0.3x
  • 2 lines = 0.2x
  • 1 line = 0.1x
